Managing Recurring Courier Pickups

The Partner System now enables merchants to schedule and manage recurring courier pickups.

The recurring pickup feature is supported by all carriers integrated into the Partner System that currently offer courier pickup services.


Recurring courier pickup frequency options

When scheduling a pickup, merchants must select a frequency that dictates how often the courier will arrive. The following three options are available:

  • One-time pickup: A single request created for one specific date. This option does not repeat.

  • Daily pickup: A recurring request that occurs every working day (Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays).

  • Weekly pickup: A recurring request that occurs once per week, repeating on the same day of the week as the specified start date.


How to Schedule a Recurring pickup

To set up a new pickup schedule, navigate to the Partner System and follow the standard courier pickup creation flow. During the setup process, you will be prompted to select one of the following "Repeat" settings:

  1. Does not repeat: Select this for a single, one-time pickup.

  2. Repeats daily: Select this to generate a pickup request for every following business day.

  3. Repeats weekly: Select this to generate a pickup request for the same day every week.


How to cancel a Recurring pickup

You can cancel a recurring pickup through the Partner System. To cancel a recurring courier pickup, follow these steps:

  • Locate the Pickup: In the Partner System, look for a pickup with the Scheduled status. This status specifically identifies an active recurring pickup series.

  • Open the Drawer: Click on the pickup to open the courier pickup drawer.

  • Confirm Cancellation: Click the cancel button within the drawer.

  • System Impact: Once a "Scheduled" pickup is cancelled, the current request and all future recurring instances associated with that schedule will be permanently cancelled.
