In case you've started using Montonio's bank payment refunds, each payment is no longer going straight to your account. Instead, it's being collected by Montonio and we make bulk payouts to the bank account you have specified in the Partner System.

Payouts frequency:

  • Daily*: This means we pay out all of the payments for the previous day. Payouts are paid out within one working day.

  • Weekly: This means we pay out all of the payments for the previous week. Payouts are paid out every Monday.

  • Monthly: This means we pay out all of the payments for the previous month. Payouts are paid out on the first business day of the next month.

Please note that the monthly payout is always made on the first business day of the following month.

Daily* - If you have joined Montonio before 28.03.2024, then every day payouts will consist of payments made on each day and will be paid out daily with a +3 workday buffer.

If you want your payouts to be made without the +3 workday buffer, contact our support team, so we can disable the +3 workday payout buffer for you.

Let's review some scenarios to better understand the logic of the first payout.

Scenario #1 - weekly payouts

Merchant activates bank payment refunds on a Monday. The first payment is also made the same day. Here's the logic of payouts:

  • Monday: refunds activated, first order by the customers

  • Tuesday - Sunday: no payouts due to the weekly payout cycle

  • Monday: first payout for orders made between Monday - Wednesday

Scenario #2 - monthly payouts

Merchant activates bank payment refunds on a Monday. The first payment is also made the same day. Here's the logic of payouts:

  • Monday: refunds activated, first order by the customers

  • The rest of the same month: no payouts due to the monthly payout cycle

  • Next business day of the next month: first payout for orders made during the previous entire month
