Video verification is a secure and straightforward method to ensure the authenticity of your identity during the KYC process.

✅ Step 1: Filled out onboarding form for Montonio
First you need to sign up and fill out the onboarding form to start using Montonio. If you haven't done this yet, refer to our guide: How to sign up to get started with Montonio.
✅ Step 2: Confirm business details in Partner System
Once the onboarding form is completed, a signatory person from your company should verify the accuracy of the business details. Detailed instructions can be found in our guide: How to finish registration to Montonio Partner System and confirm your business details

The verification process is the final step in confirming your business details. This guide primarily focuses on the video verification aspect, which is a crucial component of the overall KYC process.
Before you begin...
Before you begin the video verification process, make sure you have the following items ready:
Your physical identification document, such as an ID card or passport.
A smartphone with a working camera.
Step 1: Accessing the verification page
Verification is the last step of Confirming business details.
This step needs to be completed by a signatory user - a person who can agree to Montonio's terms and conditions on the behalf of your company. Usually it is a Management board member that holds the right of representation of the company.
After reviewing your business details, you need to read and accept our Terms and Conditions.
Click Confirm business details and select the verification method depending on your country. Select Video verification and you'll be redirected to Veriff verification view.
Step 2: Starting the verification process
At this point, you have two options to proceed:
a. Scan the QR code provided on the verification page using your smartphone's camera.
b. Alternatively, you can request a verification link via SMS from Veriff.

Step 3: Performing video verification
After accessing the verification link or scanning the QR code, you will be directed to the video verification process.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the video verification. Make sure you have proper lighting and a quiet environment for a clear video.
Step 4: Completion and next steps
Once you have successfully finished the video verification, you will be directed back to Montonio Partner system.
Your part is now complete. You will receive an email notification from Montonio when your verification has been reviewed and approved.
Await further instructions in the email regarding the activation of live API keys and the ability to accept live payments.
