Default Eurozone Country

The Default Eurozone Country setting determines which country’s banks are shown by default when a customer reaches the checkout.

  • It is recommended to set this to the primary country your e-store operates in.

    • For example, if your store is based in Lithuania, select Lithuania as the default country; if your store is based in Estonia, select Estonia as the default country.

⚠️ Important: If the default country does not match your store’s primary country, transactions may fail.

For example, if your store is in Estonia but the default country is set to Lithuania, a customer choosing Swedbank may be redirected to the Estonian Swedbank login, causing payment issues.

Preselect Country by User Data

The Preselect country by user data setting determines which banks are displayed based on user preferences. You have two options:

  1. Select based on user billing country (recommended) – the customer’s billing country will determine which country’s banks are preselected at checkout.

  2. Select based on site language – banks are preselected according to the language of the site.

💡 Tip: Setting this to user billing country ensures a smoother checkout experience, as the correct banks will be preselected automatically.
