❗️The pre-requisite to start using our Financing solution is to activate Financing and/or Pay later from our Partner System. That flow is explained in this Help Center article.

Using Montonio's Woocommerce plugin

In case your online store runs on Woocommerce, we got you covered.

If you don't have Montonio payments activated in your Woocommerce online store yet, here are the instructions on how to do it.

But if you already are using our payments and want to start using Financing, follow these steps:

#1 Make sure our Plugin is up to date

  1. Login to your WordPress dashboard

  2. Click on "Plugins" in the left-hand menu

  3. Look for our plugin "Montonio for WooCommerce" and check if it needs an update. If an update is available, you will see a notification that says "There is a new version of Montonio available. View version details or update now".

  4. Click on the "Update Now" link to start the update process.

  5. WordPress will then download the latest version of the plugin and install it for you. This may take a few seconds or minutes depending on the size of the update.

  6. Once the update is complete, you will see a notification that says "Plugin updated successfully" or something similar.

#2 Disable old Financing method(s)

  1. If you have been using our Financing solution previously, make sure to disable the older versions of these methods

  2. Find "Montonio Financing(old)" and "Montonio Pay Later(old)" from the "WooCommerce" --> "Settings" -> "Payments" view

  3. Disable them by clicking on the blue radio button

  4. Make sure to "Save changes" at the bottom of the "Payments" page before moving on

#3 Activate New Financing solution(s)

  1. Open up "WooCommerce" --> "Settings" -> "Payments" view

  2. Find "Montonio Financing" and/or "Montonio Pay Later" from the list

  3. Enable the method you are ready to use by making the radio button blue

  4. Make sure to "Save changes" at the bottom of the page

💡 To test the new methods, open your online store and initiate a payment using Hire Purchase or Pay Later. If you're redirected to Inbank's flow of creating the credit application, everything works correctly.
