Montonio needs to collect information about the people connected to your business for Anti-Money Laundering and international Sanctions screenings. We take security seriously and want to make sure customers and merchants are safe when using Montonio.

We call people connected to your business your Stakeholders.

Who are Stakeholders?

💸 Beneficial owners

A Beneficial owner is a person who benefits from the company’s actions. They have influence over the company through ownership or other type of control.

A company can have more than one beneficial owner and you need to list all of them.

✍️ Signatory representatives

A Signatory can sign business contracts on behalf of the company and represent them in legal matters. In business registers, these people are marked to have the right of representation.

🍕 Shareholders

A Shareholder owns the company or a part of it. Shareholders can be either people or businesses.

We need information about shareholders who own 10% or more of your business.
