Montonio Card Payments for WooCommerce
For merchants using Montonio's WooCommerce plugin, the new Montonio x Stripe (2024) card payment solution is available. The version offers many advantages over our previous card payment solution and we encourage all our merchants to migrate to the new solution.

How to set up card payments in WooCommerce
Montonio x WooCommerce plugin
To get started, make sure your Montonio plugin is downloaded and updated. See the instructions here: https://help.montonio.com/en/articles/68039-installing-and-updating-montonio-for-woocommerce
Connect your Montonio account
After activating the plugin, you need to connect your Montonio account to your WooCommerce store. To do this, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Payment Methods > Montonio Bank Payments (2024). Under API settings, you have to enter your API keys, which can be easily accessed at https://partner.montonio.com/.
A guide on how to find the API keys can be found HERE.
Setting up Card payments
After activating the card payment solution in our partner system you can easily activate it for your store by ticking the "Enable Montonio Card" checkbox.
NOTE! Don't forget to turn off "Enable Test Mode" when you start accepting payments. Any changes you make must also be saved at the bottom of the page using the "Save changes" button.
Once you have activated your Montonio card payments (2024), you can manage your payments directly from the Partner System under "Orders" and you can find information about your balance and payouts under "Payouts".
What are the advantages of the new Montonio card payments (2024)?
Better pricing - We are pleased to offer better prices on our card payment solution. Our new prices are significantly friendlier than the default Stripe pricing used in our previous solution. You can read more about how card payment pricing works here or on our website here.
Smoother sign-up - The sign-up process is shorter and smoother. There are fewer fields to fill in and no need to create a separate Stripe account.
Manage everything in the partner system - no more operating through Stripe! Manage your payments and make refunds in the Montonio Partner System.
All your payments in one place - This integration gives you the ability to see all your payments on the partner system's Orders page, instead of having to view them in separate tables with separate export functions.
Ready for new features - the new platform allows us to implement new features much faster. For the latest features and enhancements, switch to Montonio Card Payments (2024) as soon as possible.
If you're still using our old card payments solution (now called Montonio Card Payments (old)), we recommend updating your Montonio WooCommerce plugin to take advantage. While the old service will still be available, we recommend that you migrate to the new system soon to benefit from a better user experience and pricing.
