How to set up Smartpost in the Partner System

To start using Smartpost Itella through Montonio you have to have a business contract signed with the shipping carrier. If you don't have it yet, get in touch with Smartpost yourself.

How to set up Smartpost?

1. Go to the Home page from the left-hand menu --> Choose the store from the drop-down menu.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Click Activate near Shipping.

3. Find Smartpost and click Activate.

4. Enter your Smartpost API key - steps How to find Smartpost self-service API keys?

5. Choose the country which you have signed the contract with. Note! We currently support only sending from Estonia.

6. Tick the box if you need the Receiver age verification, read more about it here.

7. Click Activate again and you're done!

Receiver age verification

New feature for Shipping V2 that enables merchants to activate Receiver Age Verification for shipments via Smartpost in Estonia. This service helps merchants ensure that age-restricted goods, such as alcoholic beverages, are delivered only to customers of legal age.

To enable this feature, tick the box near Receiver age verification.

Note! Keep in mind that this service costs extra and it will be added to your invoice from Smartpost.
