Montonio collaborates together with Smartposti to offer competitive parcel machine and courier pricing to even small merchants, so that everyone has a fair chance at offering affordable shipping to their customers.

How does it work?

When opting for this version, you will no longer need to have a signed contract with Smartposti to handle your packages. Montonio offers you pricing, sends you the invoice and helps with parcel-related issues, while Smartposti still delivers the packages.

1. Go to the Home page from the left-hand menu --> Choose the store from the drop-down menu.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Click Activate/Settings near Shipping.

3. Find Smartposti by Montonio and click Activate.

4. You can see the prices that will apply to sending and returning parcels.

5. Click on Activate and you'll be ready to send out parcels.

  • If you haven't already, then also add Smartposti parcel machines to your checkout. Read more about how to do it here.

  • You can carry on your shipping processes the same way as you have.

  • At the beginning of the next month you will get an invoice from Montonio for the cost of the shipments.

Note!

  • SMS returns for Smartposti by Montonio are not supported at the moment.

  • Keypad lockers drop off for Smartposti by Montonio are not supported at the moment.

Availability for Smartposti by Montonio

Smartposti by Montonio is available for parcel machines.

We support sending domestic packages in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, as well as cross-Baltic packages between all Baltic countries and to Finland. Pricing and availability are the same for all sizes of parcels.

Courier pickups via Email for Smartposti by Montonio

If you want to schedule a courier pickup, you have to write an email that MUST say you are Montonio client and MUST include parcel codes they are handing over.

Smartposti by Montonio courier pickup rules

  • You can schedule a courier on workdays from 10:00 till 19:00.

  • Same-day delivery orders can be placed until 13:00, but orders placed between 11:00 and 13:00 may not be fulfilled.

  • The pickup interval must be at least 2 hours.

Invoicing

Important! If you have been using a direct business contract with Smartposti*, you may receive two invoices for the delivery service during the transition period, both from Smartposti and from Montonio. But don't worry, these invoices will be for the different packages.

This may happen if you have been using your direct business contract for the first half of the month, and then, after activating the Montonio x Smartposti contract, you have been using Montonio's solution for the rest of the month. Please pay both bills. In the future, only one invoice will be issued from Montonio for the delivery service.
