This article is primarily meant for Polish merchants who want to use the BLIK payment method in their online store checkout. Now Montonio is also able to provide the BLIK fields directly in the checkout.

Once implemented, the checkout process will look like this for the end-user 👇

How to set up BLIK fields?

Currently, there are two ways to set up BLIK fields directly in the checkout:

  • For custom online stores --> using Montonio's API

  • For Woocommerce --> enabling it from the settings

Let's go through both cases in more detail!

Using Montonio's API

In case you have a custom online store, you have integrated our API for payments. With the help of our API, it's also possible to show BLIK fields directly in the checkout:

  1. Follow the instructions in the API documentation

Using Montonio's Woocommerce plugin

In case your online store runs on Woocommerce, we got you covered. Our Woocommerce plugin comes with built-in support for having BLIK fields directly in the checkout:

  1. Head over to the "Payments" tab and choose "BLIK" tab

  2. Customise the title and description for the BLIK payment method

  3. Select the checkbox "BLIK fields in checkout"

Here's a video of how to accomplish that in Woocommerce settings 👇

Using Montonio's Prestashop plugin

  1. Upgrade your Prestashop plugin via the links below
    Prestashop 1.6
    Prestashop 1.7
    or https://montonio.com/integrations/

  2. Activate the Montonio BLIK Payments and choose " Yes" for enable BLIK in checkout -> Save

  3. After successful settings your checkout should look like the way below👇

Using Montonio's Magento 2 plugin

  1. Log in to Magento store admin -> stores -> sales -> payment methods -> Montonio BLIK

  2. Change "Enable BLIK in checkout" configuration to "Yes" -> Save Config

Now that "BLIK fields in checkout" works for custom online stores, Woocommerce, Prestashop and Magento 2, we will now turn our focus to the popular e-commerce platforms.
