What does each user role mean? How to add another user to the partner system?

In Montonio Partner System, it's possible to create 3 types of users who all have different access levels and responsibilities. Before making new users please read through the article to understand which role is best suited for which of your company's employees.

Employee Role

The employee role is meant for users who need to view orders and take actions with shipments. This role cannot alter your business details nor refund orders. Use this for your employees, who just need access to orders and want to print shipping labels.

NB! This role should not be used for developers who need access to API keys.

Manager Role

Managers can access the whole dashboard Montonio has to offer, so consider this when creating new manager-level accounts. Use this role for your accountants if they wish to access order statements and developers, who need access to API keys.

Manager-level accounts should be given to trusted employees, who will be responsible for your business details and activating new services for your store.

Signatory Role

Signatories are the ones who are responsible for all other users under the business. The only difference between signatories and managers is that signatories can make new managers and new signatories.

We suggest giving the signatory role only to employees who have signatory rights in your organization.


How To Add A New User?

New users can be added in the Partner System:

1. Sign into your account in the Montonio Partner System.
2. On the left-side menu, click - Users.
3. Select New User.


4. Enter the new user's contact information, such as Name, Surname, Email, Phone Number & assign the type of user (Employee, Manager).

5. Click "Save"

NOTE! Only Signatory users can add new Manager level users.

Congratulations! 🥳 Now the newly added user will get an invitation to the email and can successfully sign to the Partner System.
