Activating Shipping in Payment Links
You can enable Shipping in Payment Links by activating "Add shipping options" feature during payment link creation.
This option will appear automatically if you have an active Shipping by Montonio contract (e.g. Unisend by Montonio). This feature is available to all merchants who have activated one of the contracts.
Currently, this feature only supports shipments to parcel machines.
Essential Customer Information
To use payment links with shipping options, you need to collect some additional information from your customers. This ensures the delivery process is smooth and your customer receives their package without issues. The required information is:
Customer's full name: This helps with identification during package pickup.
Customer's phone number: This is essential for sending delivery notifications and contact purposes.
Customer's country: This field helps to set the default location for the payment link and is used as the receiver country during shipment registration.
Note: At the moment, the Customer's country can only be set when creating the payment link within the Montonio Partner System.
