To ensure the highest level of security for your business and customer data, Montonio requires all users to utilise enhanced authentication methods.
Enhanced Login Journey
Your login experience will depend on which security methods you have activated:
If you use eID (Smart-ID, Mobiil-ID, ID-card):
The process is the same: secure, swift, and passwordless.
Note: If your account is secured by e-ID only, any attempt to sign in with an email and password will automatically redirect you to the eID login screen.
If you use 2FA (SMS or Authenticator App):
You will first enter your email and password as usual.
You will then be prompted to provide your 2FA verification code.
New Feature: To streamline your daily workflow, you can now select "Remember this device." Once verified, your browser will remain trusted for 30 days.
Important: Whilst the 2FA prompt is suppressed for 30 days, you will still be asked to re-enter your email and password every 48 hours to maintain account security.
We recommend creating a separate user account for each person
Available security options
You can manage these settings within the Security section of your account:
e-ID Identification: This is our most secure and recommended method. It supports Smart-ID, Mobiil-ID, and physical ID-cards.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA):
SMS Authentication: Receive a verification code via text message to your registered mobile number.
App Authentication: Use a mobile app such as Google Authenticator or Authy to generate time-sensitive codes.
How to manage your Security Settings
Log in to the Partner System.
Navigate to Account Settings: Click the three dots next to your username in the bottom-left corner of the dashboard.
Select "My Account": Locate the Security section.
4. Access the Security Section: On the "My account" page, find the Security section. Within this section, you will see a list of all the available additional security methods (Password, e-ID identification, SMS authentication, and App authentication).
The method(s) that are currently activated for your account will be clearly indicated. You can also view and manage your password from this same "Security" section.
Trusted devices
Users can forget all their trusted devices if they suspect that an unauthorised person has gained access by clicking Revoke access under Trusted devices.
